In the spirit of team building and strengthening our partnerships, we organized workshops and meetings with partners and employees at the CIB site in Valencia last week.
After a meeting with our partner AKBD, we hosted a brunch with a magnificent view over the beautiful city of Valencia. We have been working successfully with AKDB since 2020 and this meeting was a good opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of both sides and to continue the cooperation to date.
Team building at the CIB office in Ruzafa
During the week, we used our premises at the CIB ARTwork office acquired in 2023 in the historic Ruzafa district for a breakfast of “churros” and typical Valencian “buñuelos” (pumpkin pie). We also met there for meetings with our colleagues.
Workshop with carbonara and paella
Our team in Valencia had the opportunity to learn how to make homemade spaghetti carbonara from chef Claudio. A fun workshop that also included a wine tasting and a cheese selection with Italian cold cuts. At the end, the colleagues tasted their own Italian pasta creations - delicious!
Excursion and seafood on the beach
Friday was followed by a hike in La Devesa, an area that is part of the Albufera Nature Park. It is the only area in the nature park where a well-preserved dune system and a Mediterranean forest have been preserved.
The eventful week was crowned on Pinedo Beach with a paella with seafood and the scratching of the socarrat.
