The future belongs to more flexible working models - we at the CIB Group are convinced of this. As an international IT company with locations in Germany, Austria, Portugal and Spain, we introduced the four-day week back in September 2021 and have now firmly integrated it into our everyday working life. We see this model as part of a comprehensive digitalization and efficiency strategy as an investment in the well-being of our employees and the future of our company.
Scientific monitoring of the four-day week
Our 4-Day-Week Model is being scientifically monitored and evaluated during 24 months in cooperation with the Munich University of Applied Science (with Prof. Dr Simone Kaminski) and with the supervision of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.

The results show: The four-day week has a positive effect. Our colleagues report a better sense of well-being, greater motivation, and a pleasant working atmosphere. The home office, which also plays an important role for us, also contributes significantly to these positive experiences.
Focus on economic efficiency
In addition to the well-being of our employees, the economic perspective is also important to us. Satisfied teams work more efficiently, stay with us longer and thus strengthen our success as a company.
A sustainable working model for all
Our aim is not only to make work processes more efficient, but also to improve the quality of life of our teams. We are convinced that sustainable work design leads to long-term motivation, better health and greater loyalty to our company - a win-win situation for everyone.
