Lisbon, 16.02. – 17.02.2023 As a jury member and unique sponsor of Jugend forscht Iberia,CIB will once again take part in the annual competition, which this year will be hosted by the German School in Lisbon. For two days, some 50 students from 5th to 12th grade from German Schools abroad in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, San Sebastian, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Las Palmas, Seville and Bilbao will present their research projects in the fields of M.I.N.T., biology, chemistry, earth and space sciences, mathematics, computer science, physics and technology.
CIB will be represented by our expert in digitalization Konrad Schmid. . As a member of the mathematics jury, he and other jury members will evaluate the projects submitted by the students and select the winners. Ulrich Brandner, CIB Group owner and Managing Director of our company in Portugal, CIB compass Unipessoal Lda, will also be there in person to address the young researchers on the occasion of the award ceremony. This year, young talent Carlos Steiner, our winner of the national Physics 2022 competition and a student at the German School of Sevilla, will also be represented as a member of the youth jury.

As part of our talent promotion programme CIB Impulsa, CIB is currently supporting six German schools in Spain and Portugal, setting a strong example in the promotion of young talent.
