CIB and Summit58: Strong transatlantic partnership for digital sovereignty with CIB seven

With CIB seven and a strong partner at our side, we are taking off in North America: Together with the US company Summit58 , we are bringing our open source BPM solution across the Atlantic - thus strengthening companies' digital independence on the other side of the ocean.

The demand for open, transparent, and long-term available BPM solutions is growing - not only in Europe but also in North and Central America. With our CIB seven platform, an open-source fork of Camunda 7, we offer companies a future-proof alternative to closed systems. And thanks to our new partnership with Summit58, a US consulting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona, this solution is now also available to overseas customers with local contacts.

CIB seven: The open-source alternative to Camunda 8

Many organizations are currently facing the challenge of migrating from Camunda 7 to the new - but proprietary - version Camunda 8. This change is not only associated with technical hurdles but also with high costs and dependencies. This is precisely where CIB seven comes in: Our open-source platform makes it possible to continue using existing processes from Camunda 7 - completely without migration. At the same time, users remain flexible, independent, and in full control of their systems.

Our partner Summit58 will introduce CIB seven to companies in North and Central America and support customers there. In this way, local customers will benefit from direct expertise and comprehensive support.

Working together for digital independence

“With CIB seven, we are strengthening the digital sovereignty of our customers - now also in the USA,” says CIB founder Ulrich Brandner. “Whether in the cloud or on premise, our solution offers maximum flexibility for companies, authorities and institutions.”

Ryan Johnston, founder of Summit58, is also pleased about the collaboration: “Many companies in North America are looking for alternatives to closed platforms. With CIB seven, we offer them a powerful, open solution for their automation projects.”

Trust through long-term partnerships

The joint focus is on enterprise customers who value stability, long-term support, and an open technology stack. This is exactly what we are creating with the new alliance: a platform that is not only technically impressive but also opens up sustainable strategic prospects.

We look forward to many exciting projects with Summit58 and to new customers who want to shape the future of process automation together with us.
