With the company event on 01 October 2021, the CIB Group proved that even in persistent pandemic times, joint events are not only possible, but can be successful!
Separate yet joint celebrations were held at the Munich and Las Palmas locations. Protective measures such as the 3G rule and rapid tests offered on site made it possible for employees to meet and exchange personal information after the long working phase in the home office. Windows that were always open in Munich and the beautiful roof terrace in Las Palmas not only provided fresh air, but also a good atmosphere. But there was also communication between the locations: A live link brought Las Palmas and Munich together. In this way, it was also possible for the Spanish and German colleagues to get to know each other and meet again.
The Munich location invited to a traditional Wiesn breakfast under the motto “O’CIBt is! Dressed in traditional costume, with popular Wiesn hits and Bavarian beer, they overcame the renewed cancellation of the Oktoberfest together. Those who had not yet met their colleagues due to the long time at home could help themselves with locally engraved Glupperln (wooden clothes pegs with their names). In Las Palmas, a brunch was held to get together and get to know the 12 new employees of the CIB Group in Spain. They travelled from our CIB locations in Valencia and Tenerife and had the opportunity to introduce themselves personally and to exchange ideas with their local colleagues.
