In July, the hackathon and teambuilding workshop of our new mobile app CIB doXiscan took place at the CIB Group headquarters in Munich. For this, a team of app developers and UX/UI designers from three locations worked together in the Bavarian capital during two weeks.
Hackathon in Munich
The workshop was an opportunity for the team members from Germany, Belarus, Poland and Spain to work from the same location for the first time. The challenge was to launch the first version of the app within 2 weeks – and it turned into a real hackathon!
The personal exchange among colleagues created a highly productive and dynamic atmosphere that enabled the rapid implementation of inspired ideas. But also the exchange with colleagues from neighbouring areas, our AI researchers and PDF experts, set new impulses and proved to be highly efficient.
CIB doXiscan - already operational
The goal of the doXisafe workshop to develop an operational app prototype of CIB doXiscan was achieved to great acclaim. The app is used in the administration and already ensures an effective optimization of our workflow. A particularly awaited feature is the automatic connection to the doXicloud, whereby scanned documents will be automatically uploaded to the cloud in the future. This will make it possible to set up end-to-end processes – complete workflows will thus be streamlined and automated.
Teambuilding
In addition to the feverish working atmosphere, the workshop’s supporting program gave colleagues the opportunity to get to know each other better and to explore Bavarian-Alpine culture. The event kicked off on Monday morning with a traditional Weißwurst breakfast with pretzels and non-alcoholic Weißbier. After work, the program included a Bavarian-style get-together in the beer garden of the “Königlicher Hirschgarten”, where the first day of the workshop was concluded in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the Friday of our 4-day week, the colleagues also took advantage of a joint excursion to Salzburg. The Austrian alpine city is about 1.30 hours away from Munich and offers cultural, gastronomic and scenic highlights.
To say goodbye, CIB invited all employees to the “Restaurant Weitblick” near the Olympic Park for dinner. With a welcome drink on the terrace, the colleagues enjoyed the spectacular view of the sunset over the state capital. This is what makes work fun!
