for advent calendar campaign CIB crowdsource
The Advent Calendar promotion on CIB crowdsource is conducted by CIB software GmbH, Elektrastr. 6a, 81925 Munich, Germany – hereinafter referred to as "CIB."
By participating, you accept the following terms and conditions and privacy policy:
Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
1.1 All individuals who are legally competent and have reached the age of 18 at the time of participation are eligible to participate.
1.2 Excluded from participation in the Advent Calendar promotion are:
a) Employees of CIB, employees of affiliated companies, and their relatives.
b) Participants who use unfair means or attempt to gain advantages through manipulation.
1.3 CIB reserves the right to exclude participants for the aforementioned reasons, even after prize determination. In such cases, the excluded participant must return any prizes received and bear the associated costs.
2. Participation
2.1 Participation in the promotion is voluntary and free of charge.
2.2 To participate in the Advent Calendar promotion, participants must first register or log in to the CIB crowdsource platform via CIB doXisafe. Then, they may participate in the Advent Calendar between 1.12.2024, and 24.12.2024, by agreeing to these terms and conditions.
2.3 To have a chance at winning one of the 100 Amazon.de gift vouchers worth €24 each, participants must open all 24 calendar doors and successfully complete the tasks provided.
2.4 Each person may participate only once. The use of multiple accounts is prohibited.
3. Prize Determination/Distribution
3.1 On 24.12.2024, the first 100 participants who have successfully completed all tasks in the Advent Calendar will be able to retrieve their voucher code directly in CIB crowdsource through door number 24. The voucher can be redeemed immediately on amazon.de and is valid for ten years.
3.2 Prizes are not paid out by CIB and are non-transferable.
4. Liability
4.1 CIB does not guarantee the defect-free nature of the prizes.
4.2 CIB is only liable for damages under the following circumstances, regardless of the legal grounds:
a) Damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by CIB,
b) Damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health or arising from product liability law,
c) Damages where CIB has assumed a guarantee
without limitation.
4.3 For damages resulting from slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, CIB's liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages. Essential contractual obligations are those that enable the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contracting party regularly relies and may rely. Fulfillment of the competition (see below 5) is not considered an essential contractual obligation.
4.4 Otherwise, CIB's liability for damages arising from slight negligence, particularly for slight breaches of non-essential contractual obligations, is excluded.
4.5 The above limitations of liability also apply with regard to all representatives and vicarious agents of CIB.
5. Early Termination
CIB reserves the right to terminate the Advent Calendar promotion on CIB crowdsource at any time without prior notice or specifying a reason for good cause. Good cause exists, in particular, if the proper conduct of the promotion is not possible for technical, legal, or factual reasons.
6. Final Provisions
6.1 If these terms and conditions are available in languages other than German, they are translations. In the event of discrepancies between these German-language terms and other versions, the German terms take precedence in the event of a conflict.
6.2 These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
6.3 The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms, as far as permissible, is the registered office of CIB.
6.4 Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. In place of the invalid provision, a valid provision that best reflects the parties' intended economic purpose shall apply.
Privacy Policy
During participation in the Advent promotion, the following personal data will be collected:
- E-mail address
- Username, if applicable
The data entered at registration is processed based on the user contract on CIB doXisafe and CIB crowdsource (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). The data is used solely for conducting the promotion, is not shared with third parties outside the CIB Group, and is not used for other purposes. Participants can delete their account at any time on CIB doXisafe.
